We operate state-wide in Minnesota and in Western Wisconsin.

We have over 20 years of experience with many different property types and ownership interests. Our company has completed thousands of appraisals for the purpose of mortgage, conservatorship/guardianship, divorce, gift, and estate. Our owner and founder Laura’s education consists of a Master of Science in Real Estate Studies from the University of St Thomas, an SRA designation from the prestigious Appraisal Institute, and has a State Certified General Appraiser License in the State of Minnesota (MN License# 20330506) and in the State of Wisconsin (WI License# 2011-10).

MEET LAURA
Laura Lamont, SRA is the owner and founder of Lamont Valuation & Consulting where she performs real estate valuation as well as appraisal-related regulatory consulting for local lending institutions. She has over 20 years of appraisal experience encompassing multiple property types including: residential homes, multi-family, retail centers, office buildings, apartment complexes, senior housing, industrial buildings, land, subdivisions, convenience stores, auto-service & repair, campground, lumberyard, schools/ colleges, and other special-use properties. Currently, Laura focuses on completing residential property appraisals and is often called upon for unique & challenging residential appraisal assignments. She is on the HUD/ FHA and VA selection roster and holds the SRA designation from the Appraisal Institute. The SRA designation is held by professionals who have met rigorous requirements relating to education, testing, experience, and demonstration of knowledge, understanding and ability. Laura lives in St. Paul with her husband and three children.
